After four years of first love bliss, Isla Rush just got dumped.

Any hope she has of winning her ex-boyfriend back is shattered when the town rezones her neighborhood, forcing her to spend senior year at a wealthy high school in the next town over.

With a broken heart consuming her soul, Isla can’t focus on anything, except maybe Emory Underwood—a ridiculously hot guy who dates a new girl almost every day. She can’t help but crush on him, even though it’s wrong.

When memories of her ex make her cry in second period, the school counselor sends Isla to a club that meets during lunch. The Break-Up Support Group is a collection of broken-hearted misfits who are all helping each other heal.

Just when Isla’s heart is finally on the mend, Emory shows up, forced to atone for all the broken hearts he’s caused over the years. While hiding her massive crush, she helps him understand the seriousness of breaking a heart.

In turn, Emory offers to help Isla get back on the dating scene by agreeing to be her fake date for the homecoming dance. Isla gladly accepts the ruse, because if anyone can make her into a desirable girlfriend, Emory can! There's just one small problem.

Isla's little crush on Emory might be exactly full blown. And a homecoming fake date with him could push her over the edge to possibly uttering the "L Word!"

Isla can't afford another heartbreak so soon after the last one. She will have to resist his charms, refuse to look into those dreamy eyes, and above all else, not make the mistake of letting him kiss her.

If only she hadn't let her guard down at the end of the night, under the light of her porch in a toe-curling kiss moment of weakness. And now, after months of Break-Up Support Group therapy, and with a heart fully on the mend, Isla has just handed it over to a guy who knows full well just how to break it.

Honestly, I do not know how am I supposed to put this into words on how much I enjoy and loving this novel very much and this novel has been one of my favourite book in 2017, despite it was published last year. Tsk tsk. Why didn't realize this novel before or even the author? I feel so small in book industry. I need to read more and discover more amazing author out there! Yes, I need to because they are amazing. Really!

Anyway, back to the main point. What is The Break Up Support Group all about? Let me summarize it and trying my best not to spoil it too much. I will try not to spoilt too much but you know I might be spoiling it a bit. hiks

Isla, she is the only daughter in the most loving family and have a boyfriend which soon to be an ex, Nate. That's first spoil. ops #sorrybutnotsosorry The fact that they have been together for 4 years has make Isla being too attached with Nate. She feel that she can't live without Nate, her life is always will going to involve Nate around her but not for Nate. When Isla has broke up with Nate, she feel lost and what make it even worse she has to move to another school in her senior year. It's a bit depressing for her. New school, heartbroken - make it hard to move on. But somehow, The Break Up Support Group has come to the light where she meet an amazing friends who is also has an experience the same things as her, heartbroken, relationship failure and one guy who has date more girls also happened to shake her heart. Well, doesn't it sound intriguing to you?

I really love Cheyanne Young's writing. So easy to read, easy to digest every words in her writing which make me happy to read right from the start till the end of the chapter. Whilst, the character. Hmm. I can't pick one for my favourite characters because all of them are definitely are my favourite. I love how the Break Up Support Group trying their best to help and motivate and finding solution in trying to mend a heartbroken girl. They definitely a supportive group. Even though Emory Underwood used to date a lot of girls from the school, he is also has help Isla to move on from her past relation, be strong, discover new things and found new love. Ciara! Gosh! How I wish I have her as my best friend. Self-explanatory?

Last but not least, the Break Support Group is like an example to our society - helping a person who in need of help/support/motivate/giving good words to mend their heartbroken, depression, sadness. Sometime a person who are out from our circle of friends could help us, they could giving us a different advice, something that could really really really help us!

Psst, I just can't get enough from Isla Rush and Emory Underwood. I need to more about the two of them. Can I have the second book? hiks 😄😉

Two years ago I find myself a situation where I need to make the best decision for myself and this quote is like a 'pang' to myself;

The hardest decision you'll ever face in life is choosing whether to walk away or try harder

I definitely recommend this book to you because you will absolutely enjoy it to the fullest. Because I loving it so much and thank you so much to Cheyanne Young for giving me an opportunity to read your amazing books! I would love to read more books from you! 💗

Book Review | By Your Side by Kasie West

by your side, kasie west

Title : By Your Side
Author : Kasie West
Publisher : Harper Teen
Publication Date : 31 January 2017
Genre ; Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Rating :

In this irresistible story, Kasie West explores the timeless question of what to do when you fall for the person you least expect. Witty and romantic, this paperback original from a fan favorite is perfect for fans of Stephanie Perkins and Morgan Matson.

When Autumn Collins finds herself accidentally locked in the library for an entire weekend, she doesn’t think things could get any worse. But that’s before she realizes that Dax Miller is locked in with her. Autumn doesn’t know much about Dax except that he’s trouble. Between the rumors about the fight he was in (and that brief stint in juvie that followed it) and his reputation as a loner, he’s not exactly the ideal person to be stuck with. Still, she just keeps reminding herself that it is only a matter of time before Jeff, her almost-boyfriend, realizes he left her in the library and comes to rescue her.

Only he doesn’t come. No one does.

Instead it becomes clear that Autumn is going to have to spend the next couple of days living off vending-machine food and making conversation with a boy who clearly wants nothing to do with her. Except there is more to Dax than meets the eye. As he and Autumn first grudgingly, and then not so grudgingly, open up to each other, Autumn is struck by their surprising connection. But can their feelings for each other survive once the weekend is over and Autumn’s old life, and old love interest, threaten to pull her from Dax’s side?

Stuck in a library? Well, I guess that is wonderful incidents - for me, of course. Having books by my side is huge gifts but to add that wonderful incidents by having a handsome guy from your school stuck together in a library, I guess it will be fun, right? To have someone to talk with instead of reading without a phone with you for three days. I guess it's acceptable.

The story begin when Autumn is being locked at library and no one notice that she has been locked up in there even her friends. What an unexpected events. To add more miserable things happened to her, all her belongings is not with her, it is in the car! That really frustrated her even more. Being lock up in a library one thing, not having a phone with her is another thing but the worst of all the library will close for three days!!! To stay there with a bad guy, Dax Miller has made it more worse.

It's an okay reading for me nothing really 'wow' me but it's still an enjoyable reading. Well, it's really weird to locked in a library without anyone notice? Don't they have any guards round the place the next day? It's weird for me in that sense and even her friends? Don't they want to communicate with each other before depart to the camping place? I guess there are all excited and forget about that one thing. Let;s just be positive about it, right?

Anyway, I still love the story where the two protagonist has develop a relationship from a stranger who never communicate with each other in school to something beyond her imagination - a lover, I mean.

Autumn having a panic issue but her family is there to support her and always check on her, that's amazing! Also, Dax Miller is also being supportive with what Autumn is having. He's been there to help her and encourage her to be strong.

Well, it's enjoyable but this is not one of my favourite contemporary novel. This is my first Kasie West's novel I read hence, I need to read more of her writing! Since, contemporary genre is my thing but not this one.

Anything can happen once upon a con...

When geek girl Elle Wittimer sees a cosplay contest sponsored by the producers of Starfield, she has to enter. First prize is an invitation to ExcelsiCon Cosplay and a meet-and-greet with the author slated to play Federation Prince Carmindor in the reboot. Elle's been scraping together tips from her gig at the Magic Pumpkin food truck behind her stepmother's back, and winning this contest could be her ticket out once and for all - not to mention a fangirl's dream come true.

Teen actor Darien Freeman is less thrilled about this year's ExcelsiCon. He used to live for convention, but now they're nothing but jaw-aching photo sessions and awkward meet-and-greets. Playing Federation Prince Carmindor is all he's ever wanted, but the diehard Starfield fandom has already dismissed him as just another heartthrob. As ExcelsiCon draws near, closet nerd Darrien feels more and more like a fake - until he meets a girl who shows him otherwise.

Have you ever watch a movie - A Cinderella Story? The main character play by Hilary Duff and Chad Micheal Murray. Have you watch it? Because if you did, Geekerella is something close to that movie. I really love and enjoy A Cinderella Story movie.

Anyway, Geekerella is about a girl name Elle who live with her stepmother and a twin stepsisters. Elle's relationship with her stepmother and twin stepsisters is not that worst nor that great, it just in between because this story is not really about those family relationship but more to Elle  being a fan over Starfield every since she was a kid. It's the best memory of Elle and her father. Also she has fandom kind of blog where she talks about her beloved fandom sci-fi movie Starfield stuff and all. One day, when the news broke about Darien Freeman being the main lead of her favourite movie, she is so not agree with it and she voice about it on her blog about it and Darien reads it.

Meanwhile, Darien, well, he does not have an amazing family even though his dad manage her work stuff but he is not that happy about it even though he is a hollywood star. He is all head over heels on Starfield like Elle but for some reason, he could not express his love on it.

So, one day, because of miscommunication, Elle and Darien start texting one another without knowing who is who and that of something good..

For me, it is a cute story and falling in love with each other through a phone, I mean over -texting. I could say, it is a light reading and I'm having fun reading Geekerella. The characters are all amazing especially when Elle is surprise that the girl who works with her at Magic Pumpkin is good on sewing or reconstructing a piece of cloth to amazing dress.

Oh oh! I also love when one of her stepsister comes forward to support her. I guess she has a good heart afterall.

In conclusion, it's an ordinary girl who got her dream comes true through unexpected events, she being a Geekerella, having a hot boyfriend and a friendship that she thought would never have. The author has make an amazing writing not having too cheesy things in it I guess it's just adorable!

So, if you are a fangirl over something, I guess this is your kind of thing! Well, if you are not still go and read this. It's fun and adorable, you won't get bored from reading it. Trust me, it's good.
